The fire district is one of your first stops in the building permit process.  The link below takes you to the Linn/Benton Access and Water Supply Application Guide that details pertinent information regarding your permit application.  Once you are ready, you will need to schedule a time to meet with Chief White so he can review your application.  Please have page 23 of the document filled out and bring a site plan showing the length and width of the driveway and location of the building on the property.  If you are building a house that is greater than 3,000 square feet including garage and porch overhangs, he will need to see a copy of the floor plans as drawn by your architect.  To schedule a meeting with Chief White, call (503) 394-3000.
